Rahul (Rahul Roy) is a singer in the good Restaurant, one day, when he comes home his mother Rohini (Reema Lagu) tells him that his father is getting married to another woman to-day. This sends Rahul in anger to venue of marriage where he breaks glasses of cars parked outside and lands himself in police custody.

Here is police custody under strange circumstances sees a girl shivering in cold. He offers her jacket, it is Love at first sight, but before he could talk to her she is taken away by her Hostel Warden (Tom Alter). Rahul one day sees his Jacket hanging out of one orphanage window, having found his love. He pursues but Anu (Anu Agarwal) rejects the romantic advances of Rahul saying she has not her to offer back to him as she is an orphan and she has no future.

Without deterring, Rahul again meets Anu in her classroom after college and proves sincerity and intensity of his burning his hand with candle and writing "A' on it.

Warden catches Anu coming out of classroom after meeting Rahul and takes her away to Ooty to get engaged to be married to a boy called Peter. Rahul follow her there and on day of tenement forces her to rebel against warden and orphanage in a party she openly declares her love for Rahul. Warden calls police- both run away in jungle but their happiness is short lived. As soon they are caught and separated. Will they meet again? Will police who has caught Rahul leave him? What will happen to Anu? What if she is thrown out of orphanage in absence of Rahul? Where she will go? For all answers see "AASHIQUI"
